Notice: John Nelis of Drimeflough, Creeslough, peacefully passed away at his residence. He is preceded in death by his father Charlie, and his mother Nancy, along with his brothers Thomas, Columba, Charles, and Paul, and his sisters Anne Martin, Mary O’Reilly, Lizzie Breslin, and Bernadette Gallagher. He will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, god-children, and all members of his extended family.
There will be a viewing at his home starting at 4 p.m. on Monday, July 31, 2023. The funeral Mass will be held at St. Michael’s Church in Creeslough on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at 11.00 a.m. The Mass can be watched live at https://mcnmedia.tv/Camera/st-michaels-church. Following the Mass, he will be laid to rest in Doe Cemetery.
The family kindly asks for privacy from 10.00 p.m. to 11.00 a.m., as well as on the morning of the funeral. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Donegal Hospice can be made through any family member or James Harkin, Funeral Director.
