Notice: Joseph Daly, former Captain and President of Limerick G.C., passed away peacefully on July 29th, 2023 at St Paul’s Nursing Home in Dooradoyle. He is survived by his three sons, Tony, John, and Roger, and their wives Gerardine, Diane, and Kathleen, respectively. Joseph was pre-deceased by his beloved wife Helen and his brother Michael. He will be deeply missed by his grandchildren Alison, Kym, Georgina, Jack, Rachael, Lynda, Susan, Jennifer, Kevin, Mark, Helen, and great-granddaughter Charlie. He is also survived by his sister Toni, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, and friends. Joseph’s funeral arrangements include a period of repose at Thompson’s Funeral Home on Thomas Street on Sunday, July 30th from 5pm to 6:30pm, followed by a removal to St. Munchin’s Church on Clancy Strand. A requiem mass will be held on Monday, July 31st at 11am, followed by burial in Mount St. Lawrence Cemetery.
