Notice: Joseph Daly, former Captain and President of Limerick G.C., passed away peacefully at St Paul’s Nursing Home on July 29th, 2023. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Helen and brother Michael. Joseph was the loving father of Tony, John, and Roger. He will be dearly missed by his daughters-in-law Gerardine, Diane, and Kathleen, as well as his adored grandchildren, great-granddaughter, sister Toni, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, and friends. May he rest in peace.
A visitation will be held at Thompson’s Funeral Home on Thomas Street, from 5pm to 6:30pm on Sunday, July 30th, followed by a removal to St. Munchins Church on Clancy Strand. A requiem mass will then take place on Monday, July 31st, at 11am, with burial to follow in Mount St. Lawrence {Extension} Cemetery.
