Josephine FINNEGAN {née Flood}

Notice: Josephine Finnegan, formerly Flood, peacefully passed away on June 26, 2023, at Curragh Lawn Nursing Home. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Hugh. Josephine will be deeply missed by her loving sons Colin and Leslie, as well as her daughters-in-law, grandchildren, siblings, extended family, and friends. May she rest in peace.

The funeral arrangements for Josephine include a period of repose at Anderson & Leahy’s Funeral Home in Newbridge, Co Kildare on Tuesday, starting at 4pm. The removal will take place that evening at 6pm, with a scheduled arrival at St. Conleth’s Parish Church in Newbridge at 6.30pm. The Funeral Mass will be held the following morning at 11am and can be viewed on the website of Newbridge Parish.

Additionally, there will be a period of repose on Wednesday evening from 5pm until 7pm at the residence of her sister Majella in Dundalk. On Thursday morning, there will be a removal at 11am to the Mortuary Chapel in Dowdallshill, Dundalk followed by prayers at 11.30am. Burial will take place in the adjoining St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Dundalk, Co Louth.
