O’Dwyer, Josephine {Joan}, a resident of Booleen/Foxfort, Bansha, Co. Tipperary, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2023, in the loving care of Seán, Terry, and the staff of St. Anthony’s Nursing Home, Pallasgreen. She was preceded in death by her brother Patrick {from Booleen}, sisters Betty {Barry – from Foxfort}, Kathleen {Crotty – from Shronell}, and Sr. Xavier O’Dwyer {from Ursuline Covent, Thurles}, as well as her nephew Eamonn O’Dwyer. Joan is deeply mourned by her sister-in-law Patricia, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family, relatives, and friends.

Joan will be laid to rest at the Old Cemetery in Bansha, following a Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 11.00am at the Church of the Annunciation in Bansha. Prior to the funeral, her body will be reposing at Fogarty’s Funeral Home on Blind St., Tipperary, on Monday, August 7th, from 6.00pm to 7.30pm.
