Notice: Josephine {Josie} Tierney {nee Keane}, a resident of Cashel Road in Killenaule, Thurles, Co. Tipperary, peacefully passed away in the presence of her devastated family at Tipperary University Hospital Clonmel. She was the beloved wife of Jim, mother to Mary {Cleary}, Eamonn, Breda {Corcoran} and Martin, and adored grandmother to Seán, Conor, Dónal, Dylan, and Clodagh. Josie will also be fondly remembered by her sons-in-law Timmy and Ronan, as well as her dear neighbors, relatives, and many friends.
Her remains will be reposing at her home on Cashel Road, Killeanule, and a Requiem Mass will take place on Sunday morning at St. Mary’s Church in Killenaule. Following the Mass, Josie will be laid to rest in River Street cemetery in Killenaule. The Mass will be viewable on http://www.churchcamlive.ie/killenaule. The family kindly requests that the house remains private on Sunday morning, and messages of sympathy can be shared in the Condolence Book provided.
