Julia Hanna, a resident of Newport and formerly of London and Shramore, passed away peacefully in Mayo Hospice Castlebar. Preceded in death by her husband Joe Hanna, parents, and siblings, Julia leaves behind her sister Kathleen, sister-in-law Bridgie, nephew Eamon, niece Breege, relatives, neighbors, and close friends. Visitation will be held at her residence on July 27th from 6pm to 8pm. Her funeral service will take place on Friday afternoon at St. Patrick’s Church, Newport, followed by burial in Burrishoole Cemetery. Her funeral arrangements include reposing at her residence on Thursday evening, July 27th, from 6pm to 8pm. Her body will be removed from her residence on Friday afternoon at 2:30pm to St. Patrick’s Church, Newport for a mass at 3pm, followed by burial in Burrishoole Cemetery.
