Laurence {Larry} McCormack

Notice: Larry McCormack, formerly of Rathangan, Leixlip, Kilcock, and New York, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2023, at his home in Leitrim Village. He was surrounded by his beloved wife Colette. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Larry and Kathleen, his daughter Coleen, his brothers Seán and Jim, and his sisters Ber and Maureen. Left to mourn his loss are his wife of nearly 65 years, Colette, and their children Lorcan, Shona, Ciara, Seán, and Aoife, along with their spouses and grandchildren. He will also be missed by his sister Ronnie, in-laws, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and his Kildare GAA family.

The funeral arrangements include Larry’s body lying in repose at his residence on Sunday, with a removal to St. Mary’s Church in Carrick-on-Shannon for a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday. Following the funeral Mass, cremation will take place at Lakelands Crematorium in Cavan. The funeral Mass will be streamed live online for those who cannot attend.
