Laurence {Larry} McCormack

Notice: Laurence {Larry} McCormack, a former resident of Rathangan, Leixlip, Kilcock, and New York, passed away peacefully at his home in Leitrim Village on July 27, 2023. He was surrounded by his beloved wife of almost 65 years, Colette. Larry was predeceased by his parents, Larry and Kathleen, his daughter Coleen, and his siblings Seán, Jim, Ber, and Maureen. He will be deeply missed by his adoring family, including his children Lorcan, Shona, Ciara, Seán, and Aoife, as well as his grandchildren, Andrei, Seán, Kyle, James, Niamh, Dara, Conor, Laurence, Aisling, Kate, Laoise, and Donnacha.

Larry’s family, friends, and neighbors will remember him fondly for his connections to his Kildare GAA family. His funeral arrangements include a visitation at his residence on Sunday from 4pm to 7pm, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary’s Church in Carrick-on-Shannon on Monday at 1 o’clock. Cremation at Lakelands Crematorium in Cavan will take place at 4:30 o’clock.
