Laurence Looby

Notice: Laurence Looby, a resident of Cnoc Gorm, Tralee, peacefully passed away in the presence of his loved ones and the caring staff at Signa Care Nursing Home in New Ross on July 28. He is survived by his beloved wife, Kathleen, his children David, Richard, Jessica, Brendan, and Claire, his brothers Kerry and Brendan, his sister Stella, his cherished grandchildren Julianna, Cáitín, Daithi, Alexander, and Benjamin, as well as his cousins, extended family, and friends. Laurence was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Sheila, his brothers Frank and Brian, and his dear cousins Mary Flanagan and Mary “Camo” McCarthy. A funeral Mass will be held in honor of Laurence at 11 a.m. on July 31 at Daniel O’Connell Memorial Church in Cahersiveen, followed by burial in the Holy Cross Cemetery. May his gentle soul find eternal peace.

Laurence Looby has passed away peacefully in the loving embrace of his family and the compassionate care of the staff at Signa Care Nursing Home. Originally from Cnoc Gorm, Tralee, Laurence’s absence is deeply felt by his devoted wife, Kathleen, their children, David, Richard, Jessica, Brendan, and Claire, as well as his siblings Kerry, Brendan, and Stella. Laurence will also be dearly missed by his adored grandchildren Julianna, Cáitín, Daithi, Alexander, and Benjamin, and will be remembered fondly by his cousins, extended family members, and friends. The funeral proceedings will commence with a solemn Mass held at Daniel O’Connell Memorial Church in Cahersiveen, followed by burial at the Holy Cross Cemetery. May Laurence’s soul find eternal peace in its gentle rest.
