Lena Mahoney {née McCarthy}

Notice: Lena McCarthy passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones at her daughter‘s home in Cobh. She was a cherished mother to Karen, Anthony, Deborah, and Stephen, and a dear sister to the late Johnny and Bart McCarthy. Lena will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by her children, siblings, grandchildren, extended family, and wide circle of friends.

Her remains will be laid to rest at her daughter‘s home on Sunday, July 2nd, with prayers at 6.00 p.m. The following day, Lena will be moved to St Colman’s Cathedral for a Requiem Mass at 2.00 p.m., followed by a cremation service at Rocky Island Crematorium at 4.00 p.m., which will be live-streamed on http://www.islandcrematorium.ie. The Requiem Mass will also be live-streamed on http://www.cobhcathedralparish.ie.
