Notice: Liam Somers, of Grove Street, Roscrea, Co. Tipperary, has passed away at Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary, Alberta, Canada after a brief illness, surrounded by his beloved family. Survived by his wife Mary, daughters Chantal and Karyn, sons Rohan and Kyle, grandchildren Connor and Wyn, son-in-law Darren, daughter-in-law Caitlyn, partners Bret and Bianca, and brothers Brendan John and Gerard. Liam was predeceased by his brothers Peter and Noel. He will be deeply missed by his extended family, neighbors, and numerous friends. A memorial service will be held at Fosters Garden Funeral Directors in Calgary on Thursday, August 3rd, at 10am.

With great sadness, Liam Somers of Roscrea, Co. Tipperary, has peacefully departed from this world after a short illness at Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary, Canada. He was surrounded by his loving family, who provided comfort and support. Liam leaves behind his devoted wife Mary, caring children Chantal, Karyn, Rohan, and Kyle, as well as cherished grandchildren Connor and Wyn. He is also survived by his son-in-law Darren, daughter-in-law Caitlyn, and beloved partners Bret and Bianca. Liam will be deeply missed by his brothers Brendan John and Gerard. Regrettably, he was predeceased by his brothers Peter and Noel. Liam’s passing leaves a void not only for his immediate family but also for his extended family, neighbors, and a vast circle of friends who held him dear to their hearts. A memorial service to commemorate Liam’s life will be held at the Fosters Garden Funeral Directors in Calgary on Thursday, August 3rd, at 10am.
