Notice: “With sadness, the passing of Liz Twomey {formerly of Enniskeane, Co. Cork} is announced. She peacefully departed on April 5th, 2024, surrounded by her loving family after a long illness at Cork University Hospital. Liz, beloved wife of Jim, cherished mother of Jason and Darren, daughter of Rosemary and the late Denis, and sister of Margaret, Mary, Séan, and Martin. Her memory will forever be cherished by her family, relatives, friends, and former colleagues. A viewing will be held at Mayfield Funeral Home on Monday, with a Requiem Mass on Tuesday at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Enniskeane, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cork University Hospital Foundation. The family requests privacy at this time and expresses gratitude for the care Liz received. Rest in peace.”
