Notice: Louis Malone, formerly of Glasgow, passed away on July 20th, 2023 at the Donegal Hospice. He was the beloved husband of the late Nellie and the much-loved father of Gary, who was married to Kathy. Louis was also a dearly loved grandfather to Sean, Gerard, Kayleigh, Lauren, Conor, and the late baby Jason. The family will be holding a wake at Quigley’s Funeral Home in Strabane on July 21st from 4p.m. to 5p.m. and on July 22nd from 4p.m., with removal at 5.30p.m., to St Patrick’s Church in Murlog, Lifford. Louis’ funeral Mass will take place on July 23rd at 10 a.m. at St Patrick’s Church, followed by interment in the City Cemetery, Derry. He will be deeply missed by his son, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, and the rest of his family. May his soul rest in peace.

Additionally, he was a dearly loved grandfather to Sean, Gerard, Kayleigh, Lauren, Conor, and the late baby Jason. The family will be hosting a gathering at Quigley’s Funeral Home in Strabane on July 21st and 22nd. On the 22nd, there will be a removal at 5.30p.m. for the funeral Mass the following day at St Patrick’s Church in Murlog, Lifford. Afterward, Louis will be interred in the City Cemetery, Derry. He is survived by his son, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, and extended family. May he rest in peace.
