Notice: We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our dear Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother Madge at the remarkable age of 99. On July 31st, Madge peacefully departed this world while in the presence of her loving family. She was the beloved Wife of the late Danny and cherished Mother of Mary, Anne, Noreen, Peadar, Carmel, and the late Gerard.

Madge’s absence will be deeply felt by her family, including her devoted son-in-law Donal, dedicated daughters-in-law Kathleen and Norma, and her adoring grandchildren Orla, Ellen, Gráinne, Michelle, Caoimhe, Dara, Don, Shane, Lorraine, as well as their partners. Her passing also leaves a void in the lives of her 13 great-grandchildren, along with relatives, friends, neighbors, and caring individuals who were part of her life’s journey.

We kindly request privacy during this difficult time.

Madge will be reposing in St. Gobnait’s Church, Ballyvourney {P12 DC82} on Tuesday, August 1st, from 6pm – 8pm, accompanied by prayers at 8pm. A Requiem Mass will take place on Wednesday, August 2nd, at 11am. The Mass will be live-streamed, and a link will be provided shortly. Following the Mass, Madge will be laid to rest in St. Gobnait’s Cemetery, Ballyvourney.

In lieu of family flowers, we kindly ask for donations to Pieta House.

Madge’s presence can never be replaced.
