Notice: Maeve Gorman of The Maples, Salthill, Galway passed away peacefully at Galway University Hospital at the age of unknown on the 7th of May 2023. Maeve was predeceased by her five brothers Sean, Joe, Mike, Peadar, and sister Maura. She was deeply missed by her brother Padraig from Sligo. Her surviving family includes sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces, great-grandnephew, extended family, friends, and neighbors. Maeve will rest at the Conneely Funeral Home in Galway on Tuesday morning, May 9th, from 12 PM to 2 PM. After that, her remains will be moved to the Morahan Funeral Home in Tubbercurry and arrive at The Church of The Sacred Heart, Mullinabreena at 8 PM. Requiem Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 10th, at 12 noon, followed by burial in Courtabbey Cemetery.
Family flowers only were requested by Maeve’s family. People who are unable to attend Maeve’s funeral mass can watch it live on social media via the Achonry Mullinabreena Church Facebook page. May her soul rest in peace.
