Notice: Margaret Hernan of Bishopstown, Cork, and formerly of Tralee, Co. Kerry, passed away on July 26, 2023, under the compassionate care of the staff at Rosenalee Nursing Home in Ballincollig, Cork. She was the cherished wife of Tom, loving mother of Mary, Jim, Hugh, and Ken, and adored grandmother to Colin, Owen, Anna, Grace, Sam, Darragh, Sean, Aidan, Ciaran, Damien, Matthew, and Emily.
Margaret will be greatly missed and forever remembered with love by her immediate and extended family, including her sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers Peter and Tom, sisters Nellie and Kathleen, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, relatives, and friends. A Requiem Mass will be held on Monday, July 31st, at 11:00 at The Church of the Real Presence in Curraheen. The service can be viewed online. Following the Mass, Margaret’s funeral will be held at St. James Cemetery in Chetwynd.
