Notice: Margaret Hernan, formerly of Tralee, Co. Kerry, passed away on July 26, 2023 at Rosenalee Nursing Home in Ballincollig, Cork. Margaret was the beloved wife of Tom and the mother of Mary, Jim, Hugh, and Ken. She was also a cherished granny to her twelve grandchildren, Colin, Owen, Anna, Grace, Sam, Darragh, Sean, Aidan, Ciaran, Damien, Matthew, and Emily. Margaret will be greatly missed by her family, including her daughters-in-law and son-in-law, as well as her brothers Peter and Tom, sisters Nellie and Kathleen, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, relatives, and friends. A Requiem Mass will be held at 11:00 on July 31, 2023 at The Church of the Real Presence in Curraheen, with the option to view the service online. She spent her later years under the care of the dedicated staff at Rosenalee Nursing Home in Ballincollig, Cork. Margaret was the loving wife of Tom and the proud mother of Mary, Jim, Hugh, and Ken. Her extensive family continued to grow with the arrival of twelve grandchildren, each held a special place in her heart. Alongside her immediate family, Margaret will be deeply missed by her brothers, sisters, in-laws, relatives, and friends. Her Requiem Mass will be held at the Church of the Real Presence in Curraheen, followed by her burial in St. James Cemetery in Chetwynd.
