Margaret Mason {Leen}

Notice: Margaret Mason, formerly of Poulawaddra and Mason’s Bar in Tralee, passed away peacefully in the care of the Palliative Care Unit at University Hospital Kerry. She was pre-deceased by her parents, Julia and James Mason, as well as her sisters Catherine and Mena. Margaret is survived by her children Billy, Mary, and James, as well as her loving partner Aidan. She will be dearly missed by her family, including her grandchildren, extended family, and wide circle of friends. Reposing will take place at McElligott’s Funeral Home, with the funeral service at the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Rathass, Tralee, followed by burial in New Rath Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Palliative Care Unit at University Hospital Kerry.

Margaret Mason of Ballymacelligott, also known as Arabella, has passed away under the compassionate care of the Palliative Care Unit at University Hospital Kerry. She is fondly remembered as a cherished mother to Billy, Mary, and James, and a loving partner to Aidan. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, and she leaves behind a family who loved her deeply. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, as well as her brother, sister, aunt, and nieces and nephews. She was a beloved member of her community and had a wide circle of friends. Margaret’s funeral arrangements include visitation at McElligott’s Funeral Home and a Requiem Mass at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, followed by burial in New Rath Cemetery. Donations can be made to the Palliative Care Unit at University Hospital Kerry in memory of Margaret.
