Margaret {Maudie} Dowling{née Keane}

Notice: Margaret {Maudie} Dowling passed away on May 15, 2023, at Aparee Living Nursing Home in Callan, Cloneen. She was formerly of the Gondola Pub in Newcastle, Co Dublin. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Paddy Dowling, her brothers Sean, Joe, Teddy, and Tom and her sisters Sarah, Lena, and Mary. She is deeply mourned by her dear friend Dave Kelly, nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, relatives, and friends. Margaret will be greatly missed, may she rest in peace.

Margaret’s remains will be reposing at McCarthy’s Funeral Home in Fethard on Wednesday, May 17th, from 5.30 pm with the removal to the Church of the Visitation, Cloneen, at 7.00 pm to arrive at 7.30 pm. The funeral mass will take place on Thursday at 11.00 am, followed by her burial in the adjoining cemetery. Margaret’s death has been noted and she will always be remembered by her loved ones.
