Notice: Peg, aged 95, peacefully passed away on 21st April 2023 in the remarkable care of the Willow Brooke Care Centre, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Jimmy and sister Joan McCarthy, Peg is survived and lovingly remembered by her daughter Margaret Herlihy, son-in-law Connie, sisters Mary Murphy and Ellen McCarthy, brother Ned, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. Funeral arrangements will take place with a viewing at Daly’s Funeral Home, Scartaglen on Sunday from 6pm until 8pm, followed by Requiem Mass at the Church of Our Lady of Lourdes, Scartaglen on Monday at 12 noon. Peg’s funeral will then proceed to Scartaglen Cemetery for burial. Recordings of her funeral Mass will be available to view at 3pm on Monday afternoon via Music Row Studios, with family flowers requested, and donations in lieu to Castleisland Day Care Centre. May she rest in peace.

Peg passed away peacefully in Willow Brooke Care Centre, marking the end of an incredible life that lasted 95 years. She is survived by many loved ones, including her daughter Margaret Herlihy, son-in-law Connie, and a number of siblings, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives, neighbours and friends.
