Notice: Margaret {Peggie} Knowles, of Shannon Vale, Clonakilty, passed away peacefully at home on July 25th, 2023, surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of the late Leo and the cherished mother of Maria, Mairead, Joe, Eddie, and Sheilagh. Margaret was also a dear mother-in-law and loving grandmother and great-grandmother. She was predeceased by her son Matthew and her siblings Anne, Jackie, Vincent, and Pat. Margaret will be deeply missed by her family, relatives, friends, and the wider community.
Visitation will take place at O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home in Clonakilty on Thursday, July 27th, from 8pm to 9.30pm, with Prayers to follow. The Requiem Mass will be held on Friday, July 28th, at 2pm at the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Clonakilty and will be livestreamed on http://www.clonakiltyparish.ie/live. Margaret will be laid to rest at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Clonakilty.
