Notice: Margaret {Peggy} Dowd, aged 86, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2023, at the Beacon Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Paddy Dowd and a loving mother to Therese, Padraic, Mary, Edel, Conor, Tom, and Rachel. Peggy was also a cherished grandmother to Martin, Sarah, Gavin, Thomas, Niamh, Lucy, Shane, Rebekah, Tadhg, and Conor. She will be deeply missed by her family, sister Pat Kennedy, and extended family and friends.
The funeral Mass will take place on Friday at 11am in St. Patrick’s Church in Trim, followed by cremation in Mount Jerome at approximately 1.45pm. The Mass will be live-streamed for those who are unable to attend in person. The family respectfully requests that the house remains private at all times.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Trim Confraternity of St. Vincent de Paul. Friends and acquaintances are welcome to leave messages of sympathy for the family in the Condolence Section provided. May Peggy’s gentle soul rest in peace.
