Margaret {Peggy} Murphy{née Carney}

Notice: It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret Mary {Peggy} Murphy {nee Carney}, beloved wife of the late Joe, and loving mother of the late Karen Dey. Peggy’s sudden and peaceful passing took place on February 3rd, 2024 at UHG Galway. She leaves behind her son Tony, daughter Jackie, grandchildren Erin, Samantha, Joseph, Niall, and Lidia, as well as her great-grandchildren Bobby and Nelly, and many other relatives and friends who will cherish her memory. Peggy’s remains will be reposing at The Corless Funeral home Kinvara on February 7th, with a Requiem Mass at St. Colman’s Church, Ballinderreen on February 8th, followed by interment in Drumacoo Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Irish MS Society. The family asks for privacy at this time and expresses gratitude for the support they have received.
