Notice: The passing of Margaret {Peggy} Rooney {nee O’Gorman}, originally from Ballyagran, Co. Limerick, now residing in Banstead, Surrey, UK, on November 28th, 2023, at St. Teresa’s Home in Wimbledon, was a peaceful one, with her family by her side. She was the cherished daughter of Patrick and Margaret O’Gorman, the late wife of Joseph, and sister to Ben, Billy, Mike, Bridget, and Joseph. Left to mourn her loss are her daughters Jackie, Maria, and Rita, sons-in-law Drew and Ian, grandchildren Laura, Clare, Alex, and Ben, great-grandchildren, brothers Jim, Patjoe, Tadgh, and Sean, sisters Josie and Tess, as well as numerous other relatives, neighbors, and friends. May she find everlasting peace in the afterlife.
Margaret’s ashes were laid to rest in the UK through a Cremation Service. A Resurrection Mass will be held at St Colman’s Church, Colmanswell, on Thursday April 4th at 12noon, with her ashes to be buried in the church cemetery afterwards. Limerick.
