Marie Hickey{née Campbell}

Notice: Marie Hickey, originally from Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan, has passed away at the Donegal Hospice. She was predeceased by her husband Liam, son David, and sisters Jean Byrne and Eileen Malone. Marie is survived by her daughter Deirdre, sons Ciaran, Sean, and Liam, as well as her brother John, son-in-law Paul, daughter-in-law Sharon, granddaughter Caoimhe, and extended family and friends. Her funeral arrangements include removal from the Eternal Light Chapel of Rest in Mountain Top, Letterkenny, to Roarty’s Funeral Home in Derrybeg, where her remains will repose on Monday and Tuesday. A Rosary will be held nightly at 8pm. The Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday at 12 noon in St. Mary’s Church, Derrybeg, followed by interment in Magheragallon Cemetery, where her son David’s ashes will also be laid to rest. Family flowers are requested to be omitted, with donations instead going to the Donegal Hospice. Condolences can be left in the provided condolence book.
