Mark Young

Notice: Malahide resident Mark passed away peacefully on July 25, 2023, after a courageous battle against a long illness. He was surrounded by his loving family in the Bon Secours Hospital. Mark’s father Gerry predeceased him. He leaves behind his beloved wife and best friend Louise, their cherished children Gerard, Lisa, Marcus, and Vicky, his mother Maura, sisters Anne Marie, Berna, and Orla, his mother-in-law Carol, and his brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of friends. Mark will be deeply missed.

Family and friends can pay their respects at Staffords Funeral Home in Portmarnock on July 27 from 3pm to 5pm. His Funeral Mass will take place at St. Sylvester’s Church in Malahide on the following day at 11.30am, followed by a cremation at Glasnevin Crematorium. The family kindly requests no flowers, but donations to the Irish Cancer Society are welcome.
