Notice: Martin McManamon of Bracklough, Glenhest, Newport Co Mayo passed away peacefully at Mayo University Hospital on July 27th, surrounded by his family. He is preceded in death by his sister Ita Healy and granddaughter Anna O’Connell. Martin is survived by his beloved wife Agnes, son Alfred, daughters Mary O’Connell and Clare Greaney, sisters Anne Coady, Bridie Lavelle, Philomena Lawless, and Mary Kelly, daughter-in-law Claire, sons-in-law John and Sean, and his cherished grandchildren Aoibhinn, Lucy, Jennifer, Roisin, Eli, Sam, Amy, and Saoirse. He will be deeply missed by his brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and all other relatives and friends.

The family will receive visitors at Glenhest Community Centre on Sunday evening from 5 pm to 7 pm. The funeral mass will be held at 12 pm on Monday at St Joseph’s Church in Glenhest, followed by burial at Annagh Cemetery. The family kindly requests privacy at their residence on Monday morning.
