Martin McKnight

The passing occurred on August 4th, 2023, at Tallaght University Hospital. Martin Mc Knight, who resided on Gallows Lane, Lifford, and formerly of Ballymacallan, Moyvore, Westmeath, peacefully left this world. He was a beloved husband to Kay and a dear son of the late Richard and Teresa Mc Knight. Martin was a cherished brother to Carmel, Anthony, Ethel, Kevin, and was predeceased by his siblings Jimmy and Nora. He will forever be remembered as the beloved son-in-law of Mary and the late Tommy Mc Brearty, and as a loving brother-in-law to Danny, Liam, John, Eileen, and the late Pajoe. The family will hold a gathering to pay their respects at his home on Sunday, August 6th, starting from 12 noon. The funeral will depart his home on Tuesday, August 8th, at 11.20 a.m. for a Requiem Mass at St Patrick’s Church, Murlog, Lifford, at 12 noon. Martin will be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery. His passing is deeply felt by his grieving wife, mother-in-law, siblings, extended family, and friends. May his soul rest in peace under the care of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
