Martin O’Leary

Notice: Martin passed away peacefully on May 17th, 2023, at Cork University Hospital after a courageous battle with illness. He is survived by his wife Catherine, daughter Fiona, son Mark and their families. His grandchildren Líle and Ruán were adored by him. He will be deeply missed by his siblings, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, great friends, and Roadstone colleagues. Martin’s wake will be at his home on May 19th and a prayer service will be held that evening. His family wishes to express their gratitude for the care provided by the staff at CUH and St Bernardettes ward, Bons Secours Cork. The funeral will be on Saturday at St. Patrick’s church in Bandon with burial in the adjacent cemetery following the Requiem mass. The service will be broadcast live at http://bandonparish.ie/. Martin will be remembered for his grace, humor, and bravery in the face of his illness.
