Mary DUFFY {née Roddy}

Notice: Mary Duffy, formerly known as Mary Roddy, passed away peacefully on June 28th, 2023, at her home in Currasallagh, Lisacul, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon. She was surrounded by her loving family. Mary is now reunited with her husband Philip, and is also pre-deceased by her brothers Jack and Michael, as well as her nephew Nicholas.

Mary will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her sons Philip, Dominic, and Gerry, her daughters Anne, Mary, and Bernadette, her grandchildren, great-grandson, sisters Nancy, Kathleen, and Tess, as well as her extended family, friends, and neighbors. May she rest in peace.

Visitation for Mary will take place at The Sharkey Funeral Home in Ballaghaderreen on Friday from 5pm until 7pm. Her funeral will be held on Saturday, with her remains being transferred from her home to Christ the King Church in Lisacul for Mass of the Resurrection at 2pm, followed by interment in Lisacul Cemetery. The family kindly requests that the house remains private and asks for donations in memory of Mary to The Mayo/Roscommon Hospice Palliative Care Services.
