Notice: Mary Ellen McNamara {formerly Ginnelly}, a resident of Achill Sound, Co. Mayo and previously of Dooega, Achill, passed away on August 21, 2023, at Mayo University Hospital in Castlebar. She is deeply mourned by her husband, Michael, her son, Micheal, her daughter, Celia, her brother, Tommy, her daughter-in-law, Mary T, her son-in-law, Thomas, her grandchildren, Maeibh, Conall {and his wife, Stephanie}, Clare, Maire {and her husband, Micheal}, Caoimhe {and her husband, Michael}, Donal {and his wife, Grace} and Nollaig, as well as her great-grandchildren, Ellie, Aoibhin, Caragh, and Conn, along with her relatives and friends.
The funeral services will be held at Sweeney’s Funeral Home in Achill Sound, with visitation from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Tuesday. The funeral procession will then proceed to the Church of Mary Immaculate in Achill Sound for Mass at 11:00am on Wednesday, followed by burial at Glencoe Cemetery.
