Notice: Mary Fletcher {formerly known as Martin}, a resident of 15 Drumnaveil, Cootehill, Co. Cavan, peacefully passed away at her home on Tuesday, August 22nd 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, as well as her brother and sisters. Mary will always be cherished and deeply missed by her loving husband Ken, her sons Gary and Paul, her daughter Angela, her son-in-law Paddy, her daughter-in-law Susie, her grandchildren Shannon, Evan, Hannah, Carla, and Conor, her brothers John and Sean, her sisters Peggy, Bridie, and Dinah, her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, neighbors, and a vast circle of friends.
May she find eternal rest.
There will be a viewing at her home on Wednesday from 3 PM to 9 PM. The funeral procession will depart from her home on Thursday morning at 10:30 AM and arrive at St. Michael’s Church, Cootehill, for an 11 AM funeral mass, followed by burial at St. Michael’s Cemetery, Cootehill. The family kindly requests that only family flowers be sent, and donations can be made, if desired, to Cootehill Cancer Care, through Mullen’s Funeral Directors or any family member.
The house will be private during all other times and also on Thursday morning.
