HIGGINS {Bishopstown and Kilcrohane}: On August 2nd, 2023, with the kind and heartfelt support of the staff at Powdermills Nursing Home in Ballincollig, MARY {formerly known as Hurley}, beloved wife of Michael, and cherished mother of Colmán, Aodán, Nuala, and Bríd. She was also the loving sister of Barry and was preceded in death by her brothers Fr. Diarmuid, Fr. Paddy, Fr. Gerard, Micheál, Brendan, and Colum, as well as her sisters Sr. Catherine and Noreen.
She will be deeply missed by her adoring family, grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbors, and friends.
The Wilton Funeral Home on Sarsfield Road, operated by Jerh. O’Connor Ltd., will be hosting the visitation on Friday {August 4th} from 4.00pm to 5.00pm.
The Requiem Mass will take place at 10.00am on Saturday {August 5th} at the Church of the Real Presence on Curraheen Road. The service will be live streamed, and you can access it here.
Following the Mass, the funeral will proceed to St. Oliver’s Cemetery on the Model Farm Road.
