Notice: Mary Kiely {nee Murphy}, a resident of Ballincollig and formerly of Industry St. Cork, peacefully passed away on June 17th, 2023, at Cork University Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late John and the loving mother of Sean, Paul, and Aoife. Mary was also a cherished sister to Pat, J.J., Derry, Brid, and the late Bertie. She was the mother-in-law of the late Gillian and will be deeply missed by her family, including daughter-in-law Aisling, son-in-law David, and her grandchildren Morgan, Nathan, Ava, Aimee, Ryan, Emily, Aoibhinn, and Fionn. Mary is also survived by her siblings, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Mary’s funeral arrangements include a viewing at Crowley’s Funeral Home in Ballincollig on Monday, June 19th, from 7.30pm to 8.30pm. A Requiem Mass in the Church of Christ our Light in Ballincollig will take place on Tuesday, June 20th, at 11am. The mass can be viewed online at https://www.churchservices.tv/ballincolligchristourlight. Following the Mass, Mary will be laid to rest in All Saints Cemetery Garrycloyne. The family would like to express their gratitude to the Staff at St Enda’s Ward, St Finbarr’s Hospital, and the Westgate Foundation for the exceptional care provided to Mary.
