Notice: Mary {Minnie} McInerney, of Knockaraheen, Virginia, Co. Cavan, and formerly of Newcastle, Oldcastle, Co. Meath, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2023, in Cavan General Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband John, and her parents James and Bridget, as well as her brothers Mattie, Jimmy, John, and Bill, and sisters Bernie and Diane. She is survived by her brother Tom, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.
Minnie will be reposing at Gibneys Funeral Home in Oldcastle on May 13 between 5.30 pm and 8 pm. Her funeral Mass will be held on May 14 at 11.30 am at St. Brigid’s Church in Oldcastle, followed by burial in the local cemetery. The family has requested that messages of sympathy and condolences be left on the given website. May she rest in peace.
