Mary Mullen{née McLoughlin}

Notice: Mary Mullen {née McLoughlin} of Childers Heights, Ballina, passed away peacefully at Mayo University Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and May McLoughlin. Mary is survived by her beloved husband, Ian, and her dear son, Ian. She will be deeply missed by her husband, son, daughter-in-law Sarah, and grandchildren Ruairí, Fiachra, Aoibhinn, and Cillian. Also grieving her loss are her brothers John, Eamon, and Michael, as well as sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.

The funeral home, McGowan’s Funeral Home in Ballina, will be hosting the repose of Mary’s body on Wednesday evening from 5pm to 6:30pm. Her funeral will take place on Thursday morning at St. Teresa’s Church in Rathduff, where Requiem Mass will be held at 11am, followed by burial in Cloghans Cemetery in Knockmore. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to Mayo Roscommon Hospice, either at McGowan’s Funeral Home in Ballina or online at https://www.hospice.ie/donations/donate-online/. The family has requested privacy at this time.
