Notice: Mary Murphy, formerly known as Mary Farrell, unexpectedly passed away on July 28th, 2023, at her home in Lakeview, Ballyleague, Co Roscommon. She is survived by her loving family: Jonathan, Elizabeth, Darren, Jimmy, and Kellie; her brothers John, Gerard, Timmy, and Michael; her grandchildren Patrick James, Megan, Jack, and Isla Mae; her daughters-in-law Christine, Alyson, and Debbie; Elizabeth’s partner Mike; nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbors, friends, and her beloved pets Ollie and Snowie. Mary was preceded in death by her parents James and Elizabeth, her brothers Pat and Liam, and her grandchildren Cillian and Odhrán. May she rest in peace.
Her remains will be held for visitation at Farrell’s Funeral Home in Lanesboro N39 E761 on Monday evening from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday morning, beginning with a procession from her home to the Church of the Holy Rosary in Ballyleague. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11 o’clock, followed by burial in Cloontuskert Cemetery.
