MARY O’MAHONEY {née Dowdall}

Notice: Mary O’Mahony, of Mayfield, Cork, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2023, at Care Choice Ballynoe, surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of Joe and a loving mother to Martina, Beatrice, Sandra, Leonard, and Adrian. Mary will be deeply missed by her family, including her brothers John and Jimmy, sisters Helen and Agnes, sons-in-law Joe and Lar, daughter-in-law Shirley and Maria, grandchildren Alex, Chloe, Shauna, Adam, Beatrice, Sara, Scott, Kate, Kiera, Amy, and great-grandchild Carragh. She is also mourned by her sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, her best friend Maura Murphy, extended family, neighbors, and a large circle of friends.

Funeral arrangements include Mary lying in repose at Keohanes Funeral Home on Knights Hill, Old Youghal Road, Mayfield. Prayers will be held on Wednesday, June 28, at 6pm. The Requiem Mass will take place at St. Joseph’s Church on Thursday, June 29, at 11:30am, followed by burial at St. Catherine’s Cemetery in Kilcully. May Mary rest in peace.
