Mary O’Mahony{née McDermott}

Notice: Mary O’Mahony, a resident of Comeragh Park in The Glen, Cork, passed away peacefully on May 11th, 2023, at Care Choice in Montenotte. Born Mary McDermott in Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Roscommon, she was the wife of James {Jimmy} and a loving mother to seven children: Sandra, Derek, Annette, Michelle, Helen, Martin, and Stephen. Mary was also a doting grandmother and great-grandmother, sister, mother-in-law, aunt, and friend to many. She was preceded in death by her brother Eddie and son-in-law Mark. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.

Visitation will be held at O’Connor Bros. Funeral Home in North Gate Bridge on Sunday, May 14th, from 3:00pm to 4:00pm, with prayers beginning at 3:45pm. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Monday, May 15th, at 11:00am at St. Brendan’s Church in The Glen, followed by interment at St. Catherine’s Cemetery in Kilcully. May Mary O’Mahony rest in peace.
