Notice: Mary Teresa O’Reilly, known as Maureen, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2023, at St. James’s Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was formerly of Harold’s Cross. Maureen was predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph {Joe} and her brothers Silvester and Gerald. She will be deeply missed by her daughter Yvonne, sons Ken and Colm, son-in-law Martin, daughters-in-law Celine and Deborah, and her grandchildren Aoife, Eimear, Orla, Laura, Eamonn, Aoibhe, Luke, and Erin. She is also survived by her sisters Collette, Helen, Antoinette, June, Jacinta, and Carol, her brother Paul, as well as her extended family, friends, and neighbors. May she rest in peace.

Maureen’s remains will be repose at Fanagans Funeral Home on Lower Kimmage Road on Wednesday afternoon from 3 pm to 5 pm. Her funeral will take place on Thursday morning at St. Paul of the Cross Church in Mount Argus, with the Funeral Mass beginning at 11:30 am. Following the Mass, she will be laid to rest at Mount Jerome Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to St. Vincent de Paul.
