The death of Mary Teresa Murphy {formerly of Ballinrobe, Co. Mayo} occurred on August 5th, 2023, peacefully in Ardmore, Co. Waterford, surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tommy and Bridie Jennings, and her brother Thomas. Mary Teresa is survived by her beloved husband Dan, son Noel, and daughters Edel {Murphy-Young} and Aileen {McNamara}. She will be dearly missed by her brother John, daughter-in-law Linda, sons-in-law Ardell and Gabriel, grandchildren Jack, Lainey, Rory, Hugo, Orla, Aaron, and Ella. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law Mary, Rosemary, and Veronica, as well as her niece, nephew, extended family, neighbors, and friends.
Lying in repose at Crowley’s Funeral Home Ballincollig, visitation will be held on Tuesday {8th} from 7pm to 8pm, followed by prayers. The Requiem Mass will take place at 12 noon on Wednesday {9th} at St. Senan’s Church, Cloghroe, which can be viewed online at https://www.churchservices.tv/stsenans. Funeral services will then proceed to Holy Cross Cemetery Ardmore, arriving at approximately 3pm.
