Notice: Mary Walsh {née Hoare}, a resident of Carlow and formerly Athy, passed away peacefully on July 25th, 2023, at Naas General Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Jerry, cherished mother of Jane, Pat, and Michael, and adored grandmother of ten grandchildren. Mary was also a beloved sister and will be deeply missed by her family, including her daughter-in-law, Jane’s partner, and Mitch’s partner, as well as her extended family and friends.
Reposing at Carpenter Bros. Funeral Home in Graiguecullen, a prayer service will be held at 7pm on Thursday. On Friday morning, a funeral procession will depart from the funeral home at 11.30am, making its way to The Holy Cross Church in Killeshin for a Funeral Mass at 12 Noon. Mary will be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery following the Mass. For those unable to attend, the Funeral Mass will be live-streamed on the Killeshin Parish website.
