Notice: Matthew Reynolds, a former member of the Garda Síochána, passed away on July 27th, 2023 at the age of 90. He peacefully passed away at Roscommon Hospice, surrounded by his loving family. Matthew was predeceased by his parents and his brother Peter {Pee}, who recently passed away in Florida, USA. He will be deeply missed by his heartbroken wife Carmel, cherished son Mark, daughter-in-law Marina, grandsons Keelan and Noah, granddaughter Gemma, sister Margie and her husband Jim, nephew Patrick, as well as relatives and friends. May he rest in peace.
A repose will be held at the residence of Mark and Marina in Gailey, Knockcroghery on Sunday, July 30th, from 6pm to 8pm. Funeral mass will take place on Monday, July 31st at St. Patrick’s Church, Knockcroghery at 11am, followed by burial at Gailey Cemetery. The family kindly requests that only family flowers be sent, and donations can be made to the Roscommon/Mayo Hospice via the provided link or any family member. Messages of sympathy can be left in the condolence section. The house will be private on Monday.
