Maura Stenson {née Ward}

Notice: Maura Stenson, formerly of Rosharry, Mohill, passed away peacefully at St. Patrick’s Hospital in Carrick-on-Shannon at the age of 102. Surrounded by her loving family, she was predeceased by her husband Jimmy, her sisters Nancy {infant} and Kathleen {Lowe}, as well as her brothers Sean and Michael {Mike Joe}. Maura is survived by her son Gerald and her daughters Helen, Kathleen, and Patricia, as well as her grandchildren and extended family members. Her funeral will take place on Monday, May 8th, and will be streamed online for those unable to attend.

Those wanting to express condolences are invited to do so online, and the family has requested that donations be made to a chosen charity in place of flowers. Maura’s life was marked by a strong connection with her family and her community, and she will be deeply missed by those who had the pleasure of knowing her. May she rest in peace.
