Maureen Begley{née Gumbleton}

Notice: Maureen Begley {formerly Gumbleton} of Bushfield, Oranmore, Co. Galway, has passed away peacefully at home on August 10, 2023, surrounded by her heartbroken family, after a brave and dignified battle with a long illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Patrick and Kathleen. Maureen was a devoted wife to Michael, a loving mother to Neil, Kevin, and Mary-Clare, and a cherished grandmother to Ryan and Elliot. She will be deeply missed by her daughter-in-law Majella, son-in-law Kevin, sisters-in-law, relatives, neighbors, and friends.

The viewing will be held at Tearmann Mhuire on the grounds of the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Oranmore {H91 XC61} on the evening of August 11, from 5:00pm to 6:30pm. The funeral service will take place on August 12 at 12:30pm at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Oranmore, followed by burial in Renville Cemetery. The family requests privacy at this time.
