Notice: Maureen McCormack, formerly of Empor in Co. Westmeath and a resident of Sancta Maria Nursing Home in Kinnegad, passed away peacefully on May 9th, 2023, in the presence of her family. She is survived by her sisters Imelda Mulvaney and Patricia Maher, brother-in-law Seamus, nieces and nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, and friends.
A prayer service will be held at the Church of St. Camillus in Camillus Nursing Centre on Thursday, May 11th, from 4:30 pm, followed by mass on Friday, May 12th, at 12 pm. Maureen will be laid to rest in Milltown Cemetery in Rathconrath, Mullingar. The funeral mass can be viewed online via the St. Camillus Church Webcam. The family requests no flowers and suggests making a donation to the Irish Cancer Society in lieu of them.
Maureen will be remembered fondly by those who knew her, including her family and the staff at Sancta Maria Nursing Home. This obituary serves as a tribute to her life, which ended peacefully after a long journey.
