Notice: Maureen Murray, a resident of Sessuegarry and former resident of Ougham, both in Tubbercurry, Co.Sligo, peacefully passed away in University Hospital Sligo, with her loved ones by her side. She was predeceased by her parents, James and Margaret Murray. Maureen’s husband Michael Calvey, along with her sons Tomás and Micheal, and daughter Orla, mourn her deeply. She is also survived by her daughters-in-law Bríd and Madge, son-in-law Pat Gormley, and her grandchildren Aaron, Hannah, Lucas, Sophia, Emily, Sean, and Sarah. Maureen will be remembered fondly by her brothers James and John, sisters-in-law Ruth and Nora, as well as her nephews, nieces, relatives, extended family, neighbors, and friends.

Maureen’s funeral will be held at St John Evangelist Church in Tubbercurry, with the Requiem Mass taking place on Tuesday. Her committal service will be held at Lakelands Crematorium in Cavan. In honoring Maureen’s wishes, attendees are invited to wear colorful clothing to celebrate her life.
