Notice: Maurice “Moss” Gaire of Duagh Village, Co. Kerry, peacefully passed away on July 27th, 2023, at the Palliative Care Unit in University Hospital, Kerry. Surrounded by his loving family, Moss will be deeply missed by his wife Betty, children Francis, Kieran, and Teresa, as well as his extended family, friends, and neighbors. He was the cherished son of the late Patrick and Joan Gaire. Moss will be remembered with love and affection by all who knew him.
Reposing will take place at Lyons Funeral Home in Derry, Listowel, on Friday evening from 5.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. The funeral will be held at St. Brigid’s Church in Duagh on Saturday afternoon at 12.15 p.m, with the Requiem Mass for Moss being celebrated at 12.30 p.m. The service will be live-streamed on http://www.dioceseofkerry.ie/parish/duagh, followed by burial in Springmount Cemetery, Duagh. In lieu of flowers, donations to http://www.kerryhospice.com are appreciated. The family kindly requests privacy at this time.
