Notice: Maurice O’Connor, formerly of Lisduff, Ballyheigue, Co. Kerry and a respected figure in Dairygold and Mallow Golf Club, has passed away peacefully on July 23rd, 2023. Surrounded by his loving family, Maurice succumbed to a short illness while receiving exceptional care at Marymount Hospice in Cork. Beloved husband of Margaret and cherished father of Áine, Maeve, Eoin, and Claire, Maurice’s presence will be deeply missed. Also grieving his loss are his sisters Doreen and Phil, brothers Jim, Joe, and Patsy, daughter-in-law Aileen, son-in-law Eoin, and Maeve’s partner John. Maurice’s role as an adoring grandfather to Olan, Hannah, Oscar, and Connor added immeasurable joy to his life. He will be greatly missed by his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends. May Maurice rest in eternal peace.
